Founded in 1787, Umegae shuzo believes that making sake is the same as raising a kid - carefully look after it. They try to use traditional old tools so that they can pay great attention to details and produce hearty sake besides ingredients from their beautiful local natures in Nagasaki and this makes them an award-winning sake brewery. They use the brewery buildings since it was founded and are registered tangible cultural property in Japan.
